ACTOR. SINGER. WRITER. PERFORMER.
Joshua Patrick Dudley is an American filmmaker, actor, author, model, singer, songwriter, and multidisciplinary creator whose work spans film, publishing, music, fashion, theater, and digital entertainment.
He is the creator, owner, and operator of StabMovies.com, the independent horror website and fan-film universe he launched in 2010. What began with the release of Stab 4: Fresh Blood grew into a long-running series of horror films, shorts, original projects, behind-the-scenes material, and online entertainment that has reached millions of viewers around the world. StabMovies.com has accumulated more than 25 million views on YouTube and has become one of the defining projects of Joshua's career.
Joshua has served as a writer, director, producer, executive producer, and actor across numerous StabMovies.com productions. His film credits include Stab 4: Fresh Blood, Stab 5, Stab 6: Ghostface Returns, Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter, the 2020 Stab reboot, Stab 2, Stab 3: Holiday Horror, and numerous shorts and related productions. His work has allowed him to develop projects from their earliest concepts and scripts through production, performance, post-production, promotion, and release.
Outside of his own productions, Joshua has also worked as an actor in other films. He appeared as the Thin Young Man in the independent horror feature Honeydew, directed by Devereux Milburn. His experience in front of the camera complements the extensive work he has done behind it as an independent filmmaker.
Joshua is also a published author. He created the Lost in Oz series, beginning with Lost in Oz in 2007 and continuing with Rise of the Dark Wizard and Temple of the Deadly Desert. He later expanded his interpretation of the Oz universe with the Guardians of Oz series. His books combine fantasy, adventure, established Oz mythology, and original characters and stories, reflecting a longtime interest in world-building and serialized storytelling.
His work as a writer extends beyond novels. Joshua has written screenplays, film projects, short-form stories, and other creative material, often moving between prose and filmmaking as different ways of developing characters and telling stories.
Modeling and fashion have also been a significant part of Joshua's life and career. He began modeling at a young age and spent years working in areas including runway, print, catalog, advertising, fashion, and conceptual photography. That experience helped develop a strong interest in visual presentation, styling, photography, branding, and creative direction that continues to influence his work across film, music, and other media.
Music has remained another major part of Joshua's creative career. As a singer, songwriter, performer, and recording artist, his work draws from pop, R&B, hip-hop, dance, and theatrical influences. He has written and recorded original music both as a recording artist and for use within his film projects, bringing together his interests in storytelling, performance, and visual entertainment.
Joshua also has a background in musical theater and live performance, experiences that helped shape his approach to acting, character, movement, vocals, and audience engagement. Rather than remaining confined to one area of entertainment, he has continued to move between mediums throughout his career.
Whether he is writing and directing a horror film, developing StabMovies.com, performing on camera, writing a novel, modeling, creating music, or developing a new visual project, Joshua Patrick Dudley's career has been defined by a hands-on approach to independent creativity. His body of work reflects more than a career in any single medium: it is the work of a creator who has spent years building stories, characters, films, books, music, and entertainment across multiple forms.
